Stratford Racecourse is one of the finest institutions in Stratford-upon-Avon, with a history dating back to the 1700’s. It lays claim to one of the longest standing traditions in horse racing and incorporates it effortlessly with impeccable facilities, to give visitors a true taste of flawless hospitality. These features were recently recognised with the racecourse winning an award for the care of the racetrack.
As a staple of summer time entertainment, the racecourse hosts the majority of its 16 events per year during these months. Visitors to Stratford Racecourse have the choice between three enclosures; The Centre Course, Tatterstalls and Club.
The Centre Course costs £10 and offers access to the centre of the racecourse with an excellent view of the races, however admittance to the paddock and Winners’ enclosure is not included. This enclosure is perfect for families as it has its own dedicated car park (£3 extra) and free admission to the family entertainment.
Tatterstalls admission is priced at £16 and is found on the paddock side. Racegoers have access to the Warwickshire Grandstand through this enclosure and it is situated on the ground floor. Pre-parade ring viewing is also included, with fast food catering also available.
The Club is priced at £20 and grants customers access to all three enclosures as well as viewing steps and the bar on the Warwickshire Grandstand’s first floor. Fully serviced dining is also available in the Paddock Suite and Gallery, and Fox’s Restaurants.
Bookmakers, shaded viewing areas, bars and catering services can be found in all three enclosures. There are no formal dress codes for the Tatterstalls and Centre Course enclosures, however the Club enclosure enforces a smart casual policy.
